Climate-smart agriculture (CSA) is an approach that has transformed the agricultural field. It is implemented in the agri-food system to fulfill three main objectives: promoting sustainability in agriculture, adapting to climate change, and reducing the emission of greenhouse gases.
Climate-smart agriculture aims to solve two major challenges: food security and climate change. Moreover, adopting climate-smart agriculture can contribute to achieving two internationally recognized goals: Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Agreement.
