Dr. Ahmad Reza Yavari is a distinguished academic and environmental science researcher specializing in mountain environments, land use planning, and ecological sustainability. He earned his Ph.D. in Mountain Environment from Grenoble I – Science et Médecine in 1996, following a D.E.A. in Land Use Planning from the same institution. His academic journey began with a B.Sc. in Plant Science from the University of California, Davis (1973-1978), followed by an M.A. in Planning from the School of Scholar Research (1978-1980). With extensive experience in environmental research and planning, Dr. Yavari is a dedicated faculty member at the University of Tehran’s Faculty of Environment. His work focuses on sustainable land management, conservation strategies, and the impact of human activities on ecological systems.
