Biography

Ayal Kimhi is Sir Henry d'Avigdor Goldsmid Chair in Agricultural Economics at the Hebrew University, and a member of the Department of Environmental Economics and Management in the School of Environmental Sciences at the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment. He also serves as Vice President and head of research at the Shoresh Institution for Socioeconomic Research. He has a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago (1991), and has published more than 50 articles in refereed journals. His research spans the fields of Public Policy, Labor Economics, Family Economics, Education Economics, Development Economics, Environmental Economics and Agricultural Economics.
