Biography

      Prof, Dr. Eng. CHERIF Adnen, is a senior Professor at the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis, University of Tunis Manar, specializing in Electric and Energy Engineering. He obtained his PhD Thesis from ENIT since 1997 and then HDR ( Research Direction) in 2002.

       He was teaching at the science faculty of Tunis (UTM), electronics, Renewable energy, automatic control, and signal information processing for the Master's degree in Electronics and Computer Science. Besides, he is the current head of the Professional Master of "Communications Systems and Networks" of which he has been the Coordinator since 2003.       

Mr CHERIF is also the Director of a research laboratory "Analysis of electrical and energy systems" composed of 54 teachers and researchers. He supervised more than 50 PhD theses and 65 masters. He is the author and co-author of more than 120 publications in impacted and indexed journals and more than 65 communications at international conferences.       

He participated as coordinator or partner in several national and international R&D projects such as VRR, PAQ, LEAP-RE, H2020 with the European Union and the Mena-Maghreb region in the field of E-Health, Energy production and storage, renewable energies, smart grids and sustainable development.
