Biography

Dr. Oluwasegun studied Biological Sciences and Plant Physiology at Bachelors and master’s level at the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta in 2010 and 2014, respectively. He earned his Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) from Chiba University, Japan under the Japanese Government MEXT scholarship in 2020 where he investigated Greenhouse gas emissions and agro-physiological responses of rice cultivars (Oryza sativa L.) under drip irrigation with plastic-film-mulch. After his doctoral degree he returned to continue his service at the Federal University of Agriculture where he is currently a senior lecturer. He has published more than 30 research articles in reputable journals.
