Biography

Prof. Godwin Anjeinu Abu is a distinguished Professor of Agricultural Economics in the Department of Agricultural Economics, Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University Makurdi (formerly Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi). A highly respected academic and researcher, Prof. Abu holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and has made notable contributions to agricultural policy analysis, rural development and agri-food value chains in Nigeria and beyond. Over the course of his career, he has published extensively in leading journals and has served the university in various academic and administrative capacities. In recognition of his expertise, he is currently a Visiting Professor in the Department of Agriculture, Food and Resource Economics at Michigan State University, East Lansing, USA. Prof. Abu remains committed to driving evidence-based research and mentoring the next generation of agricultural economists.
