Dr. Wenting Zhao is an associate professor of Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences, specializing in food science. She obtained her PhD from China Agricultural University. Her research focuses on vegetable processing and preservation, and novel plant-based product development. The research results were published in Food Chemistry, JAFC, Food Hydrocolloids, and LWT, etc. Her work has been honored with the First Prize for Science and Technology Progress from the China National Light Industry Council, Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award from The People's Government of Beijing Municipality, and First Prize of Technology Progress Award from Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology.
